What is cholesterol? Health problems related to cholesterol and solutions
The human body is very complex and as an account of that it has many different aspects that we are laymen do not known about. Certain parts of the body and their functioning are still not even clearly known to the medical sciences as well. Its got a lot of mystery and not enough information to base the main ideas and concepts upon at all. The main idea behind conducting medical research is that most people find cures and some kind of betterment options for illnesses and diseases that have been coming for a long time and hence most doctors and scientists spend years in trying to understand diseases and figure out how to prevent them and cure them completely.
Now when it comes to this trend the highest priority is given to genetic diseases such as Alzheimer’s, cancer, Parkinson’s disease and somewhere on that list you will find the word cholesterol as well. Now this is a genetic condition but one that can also form on its own even if there is no family history to support this theory. Now most families that are meat eaters tend to suffer the most from this disease and finding a cure for it comes from within the person themselves. The cure lies within moderate intake of food. If a person eats right and keeps their intake of fat and other such substances in control they can easily avoid developing such a problem in the long run. For main people the sheer thought of high cholesterol these days means a great deal of stress and anxiety as it is more commonly known that high cholesterol is the number one cause for heart attacks and other blood pressure related problems. That is a bad and very dangerous thing.

They are still many people however who are not so educated upon the topic and even though they have high levels of cholesterol in their bodies it is still not possible that they know the risk and danger that they have placed themselves into. For such people death comes suddenly and at times families lose member due to lack of knowledge and a progressed condition as well. The high levels of cholesterol are a common problem and health issue being faced not just in the US but all over the world. The main cause for this is the fact that our lives and our eating habits have been completely hijacked by a less healthy and more junk food based diet plan.
Our main food sources are now known to be those that are filled with fat or prepared primarily from substances high in grease and oils. That makes the already high content of cholesterol go to an even higher level in the body. Thus it keeps building up in our blood stream and our veins are made to become smaller and narrow. This makes it a problem for the blood flow through the veins to take place at a normal pace and thus begins the downfall of health.
Now there is an old saying that the excess of anything can be bad and that is very true. Our bodies are made initially with an existing level of cholesterol in blood and that is there because the body in general needs to have a good amount of cholesterol in it for proper functioning. The blood uses this cholesterol in many ways and by its use the main ailments and other important functions within the body and conducted in a good and easy manner. For the most part there are many things that the body does with cholesterol and also makes and great deal of other important functions take place so that is the good cholesterol levels that most humans are born with.
It is a percentage that you usually see in blood reports that shows the normal average amount of cholesterol and then usually shows your blood cholesterol levels which could be either higher or lower than the average. It is not a good thing even if the level s lower than the average as that would mean that the amount necessary for regular functioning is also not sufficient and that would mean that body functioning and body parts will suffer and have to work under substandard conditions. This creates a problem as mostly an excess strain is applied on the body overall. That makes other over all parts begin to strain in compensation for the loss that is within the body parts. Now this is not a good thing that is very dangerous when it is coupled with some other health issues and that way most of the body is then placed under a great deal of stress. The lungs and heart are the most affected by this sort of strain. And that is why these complications are called fatal complications.
The thing that happens due to high cholesterol levels is very scary and that can cause heart attacks, high blood pressure leading to strokes and other critical issues as well. the cholesterol is heavier than blood and therefore it is not carried along in the blood but rather settles in the base of each blood stream that way the blood stream becomes a bit narrow the more fat we eat the more it builds up and consequently the more we neglect it the narrow the blood vessels and veins become. This highly effects and restricts the blood flow throughout the body and lack of proper blood flow will most definitely result in the thickness of the blood.
Blood mixes with oxygen in the body and that oxygen is what makes it become better suitable for a proper flow. If it gets thick the flow speed reduces. That being said with the veins already being fairly narrowed down by the building up of cholesterol as well, it’s a tough combination and usually the space at some points becomes so small that no blood can pass through it. So when the blood turns too thick and the vein is narrow that causes the blood to get blocked. This will ultimately cause the vein to burst when excess blood fills up in it and that is how strokes and other complications arise.

Fatty foods such as meats and that containing a lot of other kinds of fats are advised against when a dietician is first presented with a case of high cholesterol and he will mostly advise you to eat foods that are low in cholesterol so that the already built up cholesterol count can be diminished and that way you can reduce any and all health risks in total. Mostly people tend to not known about high cholesterol counts in the body unless they have had some kind of health issue or at the extreme of cases had or suffered a massive heart attack. This is also the cause of high blood pressure, low blood oxygen count caused primarily by the existence of narrow blood vessels.
This is the same as with a stroke. The heart is also an organ that pumps blood to the rest of the body and especially the brain itself. The blood in the veins begins to get thick after a certain age and the lungs are also at a strain having worked for many years. This is a cause of old age and one that cannot be questioned as all human beings have to age ultimately. So this is a normal problem faced by millions of people. The blood getting thick has greater difficulty while flowing through the vessels and with the vessels being so thick and internally narrow this causes a slowing down in blood pressure. This makes the heart work at double pace in order to make the other organs function in a proper manner and thus the heart gets over worked and shuts down.
For the most part high cholesterol and such related issues can be easily monitored and reduced with the use of medications and just following the proper diet. Foods with a lot of protein and fat absorbing qualities should be preferred when dealing with even a slightly high level of cholesterol. Frequent blood work and cholesterol tests are the key way of monitoring and keeping a control on your cholesterol counts as well. The human body is a complex organ and over all it needs all its parts to work in perfect harmony so that it functions fully. Even if one part is at a disadvantage that places the entire body machine at risk as well. Your body needs proper food proper diet and regular checkups as well to function at its best capacity. Eat health and make sure that your calorie intake is also in a moderate form. The better you care for such things at a younger age the better your elder years will be. Cholesterol is not a chronic disease it can be regulated and controlled with a little bit of effort. It is wise to eat foods that have less fats and high proteins.
